Cornerstone Structures is a versatile Construction Manager with a focus on Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Westchester. We're equally comfortable delivering ultra high end projects and meeting aggressive scheduling demands. New York City's construction and real estate industry is demanding and multidisciplinary and Cornerstone is sophisticated enough to meet all challenges head-on. Our team represents a cross section of the industry with backgrounds including large CM, architect, trade, and real estate. In addition to a management staff, we employ highly skilled carpenters and masons to control quality and drive schedule on all of our projects.

About the Principal

James Guerriero has fifteen years of experience in commercial and residential construction in New York City.

He served as Project Executive and Operations Manager at a leading construction management firm focused primarily on residential development. He oversaw all aspects of senior project management including staff development, client relations, design team correspondence, cost/budget tracking, subcontractor management, procurement, etc. and worked with various clients including Madison Realty Capital and The Naftali Group. He also provided critical support to the operations of the growing firm including protocols implementation, human resources support during a significant staff-up, company analytics, executive advisement, etc.

During his time at Turner Construction he worked on some of the city's largest and most complex projects including Yankee Stadium and Madison Square Garden. Among other responsibilities, he managed a cost/budget department which oversaw trade costs exceeding $2 billion dollars including the issuance of more than $500 million dollars in change orders.
